I found Mike Robinson to be up front, honest, and on point. He was always readily available when I had questions and most of the time had an answer or got back to me quickly with the information. Mike was regularly stopping by to check on progress as well as checking in on my satisfaction with the project. The craftmanship was well done, the work area was always being cleaned threw out the day. and was never left a mess at end of each workday. The crew were always busy, polite, and professional. I highly recommend MC Design & Construction and will use them in the future.

We are thrilled with our new door! Because we have an old house, the installation was more complex than anticipated, but the carpenters were good problem solvers and did a beautiful job! We are also happy to have the gaps around our windows sealed. The work was done quickly, and they did a beautiful job of cleaning up when they were finished. The guys were very nice and pleasant to work with.

Amazing job putting up new ceilings in 3 rooms, new walls in one, painting all rooms and refinishing the floors!! I am beyond happy with the results. Everything looks beautiful!! Exceeded my expectations!!Workers were friendly and very respectful. Perfectionists in their work. Cleaned up each day before they left. I will definitely be calling MC Designs for all future jobs. Highly recommend.

Mike knows good customer service -- and demonstrates it, which is a rarity among residential contractors. He was very responsive during the entire period including when providing the initial estimate. The construction project consisted of exterior carpentry and wood rot repair on our home. Even though the project extended longer than initially expected due to the discovery (and repair) of additional rot, he was always very thorough and transparent in explaining the costs involved. Additional, the workers were very professional, competent and thorough. We would -- and likely will -- hire MC Design and Construction again.

Time was taken & encouraged by Mike the contractor to address any questions we had. The job even got scheduled sooner than expected. The workers were punctual, very hard working, did a terrific clean up job & the roof came out great! Our neighbor afterwards came out & said it looked beautiful! Very pleased with my new roof!

Michael and his crew were phenomenal. They showed up when scheduled, on time and ready to work. They were fair on pricing and extremely accommodating, even with last minute changes. The work was meticulous and reasonably priced! I would highly recommend MC Design and Construction to anyone looking for professional work at reasonable prices. They were unbelievable.

I called MC Design because of a leaking roof over my small back porch. Mike came out promptly and was able to give me a quote to replace the roof plus the walls which had also sustained water damage. They would check for any potential mold at that time. I asked if they could replace the old ( circa 1925) window with one that I could actually open and close. It took 2 days to complete the work. The craftsmen were professional and friendly. All work was meticulously completed. They also left my property very clean. I am very happy with my new porch. Highly recommend MC Design and Construction!!

I recently worked with Mike and his team at MC Design & Construction to rebuild an interior staircase. It was a challenging project but the team was very thoughtful about how to achieve what I wanted. I was very impressed by Jeffersons craftsmanship and how respectful he was of our home. Mike and Milton were also great, they checked in on the project regularly to make sure everything was on-track. I would definitely work with MC Design & Construction again and recommend them to anyone looking to improve their home!

The crew did a great job with demolition and the rebuild of my interior staircase. Their work showed a great attention to detail and they kept the other parts of my home protected/clean while they worked. I Will definitely recommend them to others

My family’s experience with MC Construction has been exceptional. My mother worked with them for several projects (ranging from deck construction to electrical work to plumbing to a full bathroom remodel) for her property, and then my own family worked with them for projects on our own home (including window installation and painting). We have future projects (roof and siding) that we will be working with them for. The work across this a range of projects was uniformly top quality and timely. Their prices were also consistently lower than the other estimates we got. Mike Robison is WONDERFUL to work with - knowledgeable, personable, patient, responsive, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed - including making multiple home visits to my mother to personally review all the details at her kitchen table. He brings a lot of integrity and care to his work. The construction staff, led by Milton, have all been wonderful to work with, responsive to any concerns, and clearly expert craftspeople who take pride in doing excellent work. I have already recommended MC Construction to a friend doing some home improvement projects, and will readily recommend to anyone.

I am incredibly happy with the result of my roof project, thanks to Mike and MC Design and Construction. This is my second time working with the owner, Mike; I can say without question his number one concern is delivering a result that the customer is happy with. I recently had the roof redone on my two-family house in Boston by MC D&C; the quality of work was top notch, Mike ensured all underlying issues were addressed as they were found, and designed the rebuild in a way to ensure that my roof would outlast me. Additionally, Mike went above and beyond to seek out solar venting products that would qualify me for significant government tax rebates- no other company I spoke with offered this as an option. When choosing a general contractor, integrity matters; Mike went the extra mile to ensure I was happy with the result, and for that, MC Design & Construction has my recommendation. Thank you again!
